A Fun Chase to Fundraise

Each year in June, we take part in the Eddystone Charity Sailing Pursuit, one of the South West’s biggest fundraising events. The pursuit involves a flotilla of boats undertaking the 26-mile round-trip course to the Eddystone Lighthouse to raise money for their chosen charities.

The funds we raise will enable us to continue providing sailing opportunities for young people who, due to circumstance or disability, might not otherwise have the chance to take part in activities of this kind. Through our residential and day sailing programmes, young sailors return home with increased motivation, confidence, teamwork, leadership and communication skills, and a fresh perspective on their self-worth and abilities.

If you’d like to join us in this popular event, you can enter your own boat and join our team, with all participating boats raising funds for the cause. Alternatively, for those without a boat, you can come on board one of our boats and be part of our crew, with a commitment to raising a minimum of £100 in sponsorship to support our mission – no experience or prior skill is needed, our professional staff will coach you in every aspect of sailing.
