Motivating young people through sailing

For over 50 years The Island Trust has been providing life-enhancing, residential and day-sailing activities for young people with educational support needs, disabilities, and those experiencing hardship and deprivation. We work with individuals, school, youth groups, church and community organisations. Through our programs young sailors return to their schools and communities with increased motivation, leadership and communication skills, and a fresh perspective on their self-worth and abilities.
