In May our longest serving members of staff, Tom and Jane, were thrilled to be invited by UK Sail Training’s chief executive Kerry McMillan (pictured left) to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, hosted by the King and Queen. The occasion was to celebrate and recognise those working in education and skills – the weather couldn’t have been more perfect!
What a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of such an event, to see what lies behind the Palace gates, to enjoy the beautiful vast gardens and a scrumptious afternoon tea. All with a good view of the King and Queen as they walked back into the Palace!
