Paimpol Festival du Chant de Marin 2019
£1,200 per person | 10 nights | 30 July to 9 August 2019
Sail with us to Brittany to celebrate the maritime traditions in music and songs, at the world-renowned three day Breton Sea Shanty Festival on the weekend of 2, 3 and 4 August 2019 at the port of Paimpol. We are offering adults a 10 night voyage on our 72ft Pilot Cutter Pegasus, at a cost of £1,200 per person.
Pegasus is the youngest vessel in our fleet, based on the designs of the famous Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters. Designed by Ed Burnett and built by The Bristol Classic Boat Co on Redcliffe Wharf, Bristol by the Rolt brothers, she was launched in 2008.
The intended itinerary is to embark at 1800 hours on Tuesday 30 July 2019 at Plymouth Yacht Haven Marina, arriving Paimpol on Thursday 1 August, when around 200 traditional sailing ships gather for four nights and three days locked-in the basin for the festivities. Then after the merriments have ended, we will depart Paimpol on Monday 5 August for a leisurely sail home, visiting other places along the Brittany coast and possibly the Channel Islands too. We disembark at Plymouth Yacht Haven Marina on Friday 9 August 2019 at 1000 hours.
