We just wanted to say a massive thank you for the voyage last week. Our son was apprehensive about going but he absolutely loved it!
From a parent’s perspective The Island Trust is incredibly well organised and communication is superb. From our son’s point of view, the team are extremely skilled not only in sailing, but managing teenagers!! The group of young people really seemed to get on well which is a credit to them, but also to Dan and the crew organising the voyage to ensure everyone was involved and worked as a team. We doubt our son will ever forget this trip – he has learned so much from it.
Our daughter will be doing Gold Duke of Edinburgh in 2 years so we think you will have one confirmed place on that voyage as we doubt she would consider anything else for her residential!!
