Paimpol Festival du Chant de Marin 2017

Sail with us to to celebrate the maritime traditions in music and songs at the world-renowned three day Breton Sea Shanty Festival on the weekend of 11, 12 and 13 August 2017 at the port of Paimpol. We are offering adults a 10 night voyage on our 72ft Pilot Cutter Pegasus, at a cost of £1,100 per person. Solo travellers welcome.

Pegasus is the youngest vessel in our fleet, based on the designs of the famous Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters. Designed by Ed Burnett and built by The Bristol Classic Boat Co on Redcliffe Wharf, Bristol by the Rolt brothers, she was launched in 2008.  Pegasus has 10 guest berths.

The intended itinerary is to embark at 1800 hours on Tuesday 8 August 2017 at Plymouth Yacht Haven Marina, arriving Paimpol on 10 August, when around 200 traditional sailing ships gather for four nights and three days locked-in the basin for the festivities. Then after the merriments have ended, we will depart Paimpol on Monday 14 August for a leisurely sail home, visiting other places on the Brittany coast and the Channel Islands along the way, arriving Plymouth on Friday 18 August. Click to view the Official Paimpol 2017 Teaser, where Pegasus makes an appearance 52 seconds into the video.
